Brief: LAST SUPPER is a dining table from designer Mohammed Fares for Fayek Decorative Furniture Co. that combines elements of traditional styling through the eye of the modern designer, executed with new materials and manufacturing techniques. The logo echoes what the table stands for by using a traditional serif, almost gothic, typeface, while making visible all the geometric lines needed to form and structure the individual letters, making ithe designer’s place and role all too obvious. A lower case typeface, representing younger generations, is combined with the uppercase typeface, which represents the older generations, which indicates how this table was made to be placed at the vortex of man’s different generations.
